Lake- of- the- Woods-Walleye are in many lakes and rivers, the average-sized Lake-of-the-Woods-Walleye are between 1 and 3 pounds. Of course fish over 30 inches in length and weighing over 10 pounds are a definite possibility. Jigging with live bait is the most common method of catching walleye. Big walleye are often caught at dusk while. A group with less than six can expect additional people on the boat. Or your group can request a “No-Fill”, and pay $135.00 per empty slot to reserve the charter for your private party. Fuel Surcharge The total price of a Guided Walleye Fishing Package is based on the price of gas at the time our 2021 Summer Rates were set.

Lodging in cabins
Each unit is complete with living room, two single beds per bedroom, bathroom, TV, towels & bedding. Based on availability, there are two, and three bedroom cabins at hand for reservations. For the 2021 season, we are requiring groups to be 4 or more.
American Plan meals
Featuring homestyle evening dinners (with salad & dessert), piping hot breakfasts & sack lunches prepared for you on your fishing days.

Beverages
Bring a small cooler for transporting your fish on the way home. Other than at breakfast, you are responsible for your own beverage during lunch & dinner. Our full service bar offers a complete list of beers, liquors, and non-alcoholic beverages. The gift shop also offers the sale of similar beverages, along with snacks & souvenirs.

MN fishing license required
You can purchase a MN angling license here at Ballard’s, cost for a MN Resident is $26 & non-resident 72 hour is $37. Your social security number is needed. Or, prior to the trip, go on-line at www.dnr.state.mn.us and obtain your license.
