Hiring is underway for the highly anticipated opening of the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley near Glendale, Arizona, on February 19, 2020. Special hiring events for Food & Beverage positions are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley Administrative Offices at 9431 W. Northern Ave., Glendale.
Full-time and part-time Food and Beverage positions are available, including Assistant Sous Chef, Bartender, Barista, Server, Cashier, Prep Cook, and Kitchen Steward, among many others. Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment is operated by the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise, an enterprise of the Tohono O’odham Nation. The interim casino in Glendale currently employs more than 600 people, and the full-scale facility will become one of the West Valley’s largest employers. When it opens on February 19, 2020, the new casino will feature slots, poker, blackjack, and live bingo, as well as five new dining venues and other amenities.
